Bella Thorne and her boyfriend Ben Mascolo are engaged. Bella Thorne and her boyfriend, Italian singer Benjamin Mascolo, are engaged. Thorne, a 23-year-old American actress, and Mascolo, who have been dating for two years, announced the news on their social media accounts Sunday.
“She said YES,” he captioned the post, tagging Bella alongside a ring and a black heart emoji.
On Saturday, March 20, the 27-year-old Italian singer announced his engagement to Thorne in an Instagram post that featured photos of the couple smiling and kissing happily as Thorne showed off the diamond ring.
On Instagram Stories, Mascolo shared a heartfelt video that showed Bella’s reaction to the proposal.
“Thank you for being amazing, baby. I love you so much,” he said, to which she responded with a huge smile on her face, “I love you so much.”
“Yay! We’re getting married. Celebration in Italy and America both,” Benjamin added, with the former Disney Channel star nodding in agreement, “Yes. I love you so much. Now give me a kiss.”
Shortly after Ben’s announcement, Bella gave fans a closer look at the ring on her IG stories, posting a close-up video of her hand wearing the pear-shaped diamond piece.
“He knows exactly my style,” she wrote in the video, tagging her partner.
“For everyone writing congratulations thank u guys!!! It’s hard to reply to everyone, I’m not being a b*tch it’s just going to take [a while] but I love u guys thank u,” she wrote in another IG story.
News of the couple’s engagement comes about two years after they first sparked romance rumors in April 2019.
People reported that the couple was romantically linked in 2019 and dated for nearly two years after being split from longtime boyfriend, Mod Sun.
Last year, Thorne opened up about dating Mascolo to Entertainment Tonight.
“I got so lucky with my Ben. He’s really just the perfect specimen, and I honestly don’t know how I got so blessed with him,” Thorne said.
