CATRIONA GRAY TO HOST NCCA’S ‘KULTURA 101’

Catriona Gray to host NCCA’s ‘Kultura 101′. Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will host the NCCA’s “Kultura 101”, showing the Philippines’ beauty, which will be premiered in February to celebrate National Arts Month.
The show, called Kultura 101, is a 5-episode program sponsored by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, showcasing its arts, food, dance, and culture.
Miss Universe 2018 titleholder shared the trailer of the web series “Kultura 101” on her official Instagram account.
“Kitakits!! Kultura101 with Cat,” she wrote on the caption with an emoji of a cat and Philippine flag.
“It really was a journey of discovery for me and little by little I fell in love with different arts, crafts, food, music, and textile,” she said on the trailer.
“And I learned about the history of our people, learn their stories, built my love as a Filipino but for the Filipino people. I’m super proud to take you all along with me for ‘Kultuta 101 with Cat’ coming very soon!” she ended.
In the trailer, it shows a quick glimpse of what to expect from the show. It was also evident on the trailer the excitement of Miss Universe Catriona Gray. It will stream on February 20 on the NCCA and Catriona’s Facebook pages.
Catriona Gray, the government agency ambassador, talked about “Kultura 101” at a recent conference.
“It’s a lighthearted web series where I share my passion for aspects of Filipino culture,” she said.
“This is something that we can share not just with our Filipinos here in the Philippines but also who are abroad, who haven’t had the opportunity to come home, those who feel they are away from their families.”
This is the second year Catriona is working with the NCCA. In 2020, she was appointed as its ambassador and traveled around the country to promote the organization’s programs. She also toured La Union, Laguna, and Zamboanga as part of the Raise Your Flag series.
