Kris Aquino video podcast comeback plans are now taking shape as the Queen of All Media revealed that she is considering returning to the spotlight through video podcasts while continuing treatment for her autoimmune diseases.

A few days after undergoing a minor medical procedure, Aquino took to Instagram on Monday, January 26, to share how much she longs to do interviews again. The television icon asked her followers if they would be interested in watching and subscribing to a video podcast, which may also include a partial tour of her home.

“With the correct safety protocols, I can be taped as a live video podcast. I miss doing interviews,” Aquino wrote. She added that launching the podcast and sharing a glimpse of her home would be her “birthday gift” to supporters who have stood by her during her health struggles.

The post quickly gained attention, with fans expressing excitement over the possibility of seeing Aquino back in her element—asking sharp questions, engaging guests, and speaking with her trademark honesty.

In the same post, Aquino reflected on the life of her late mother, former President Corazón C. Aquino, who would have turned 93 on January 25. She recalled how her mother chose to keep her battle with colon cancer private, shielding the public from the painful details of her illness.

“My mom never publicly shared the excruciating operations and procedures she endured, and the difficult choices she made. She protected her privacy,” Aquino said.

Inspired by her mother’s example, Aquino explained that she is now choosing to share moments of her life without divulging detailed medical information. While she continues to post photos and videos, she emphasized that deeper reflections about her health journey will be shared only when she has fully recovered.

“Keypad gambling AKO, that is when I should share what I wrote in my journals, the instructions I prepared, and my playlists,” she added, referring to personal notes she has kept during her illness.

Aquino also took time to thank several friends who visited her during her hospital stay, including actor-turned-Senator Robin Padilla, former actress Erich Gonzales, and celebrity makeup artist RB Chance. She expressed gratitude for their presence and support, saying their visits lifted her spirits during recovery.

The media personality shared that she is currently healing from a wound and will only be allowed to move into her “semi-permanent residence” once it fully recovers. She candidly recounted the emotional experience of seeing blood during the procedure, noting that she remained awake throughout.

“My mom, I know, kept me safe,” she said, expressing faith and gratitude amid the ordeal.

Aquino also appealed to her followers to change the narrative around her condition, asking them to use the word “brave” instead of “fighting.” She thanked supporters for their prayers and reassured them of her continued hope for remission.

Diagnosed with 11 autoimmune diseases, Aquino recently underwent an operation that had been postponed earlier due to dangerously high blood pressure. Despite her ongoing health challenges, her optimism and desire to reconnect with audiences remain strong.

During her years in show business, Aquino became one of the most influential figures in Philippine media. She was widely admired for her morning and late-night talk shows, where her straightforward questions, quick wit, and memorable punchlines set her apart. Beyond television, she was also recognized as a powerful brand endorser and a consistent top taxpayer—further cementing her legacy as one of the country’s most successful media personalities.
