Majestic Maja Salvador talks about her life’s latest news as she is set to start her first-ever teleserye in another network.

Eighteen years of successfully paving her name in the showbiz industry, Maja accurately proves herself more than just being a talent. 

Going out from her comfort zone and thriving the waves as she is to star the newest Teleserye in TV5 “NiñaNiño, Maja is making splashes for all her fans and followers, especially to her bashers.

Maja Ross Andres Salvador, in real life, is the daughter of actor Ross Rival and a niece of actor Philip Salvador. Maja enters showbiz through a minor role in John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo’s 2003 series titled It Might Be You in ABS-CBN Kapamilya Network, and the rest is history.

Maja’s first project also got her first nomination to receive an award which is evident to her acting skill and opened her plenty of opportunities in the industry. 

Besides acting, Maja also tags as the ASAP Dance Princess, where she showcases her expertise in the dance floor and releases her self-titled album Believed in 2013.

With Sabador’s contracts with ABS-CBN officially ended in March of 2020, that makes her on freelance mode. 

Maja answers Mr. M ( Jhonny Manahan) calls to do a project in the other network to help the employees affected by the shutdown of the Kapamilya network. Maja said YES!”

In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal, Maja said.

“How will you say no kay, Mr. M?

“Sa lahat ng ups and downs ko, sa lahat ng nagaganap sa akin, maganda o hindi…

“Sila Mr. M and Tita Mariole, as in nanay at tatay ko talaga sila.

“Sobra silang nandiyan sa akin nung mga panahon na talagang kailangan ko sila. Or kahit di ko sila kailangan, nandun sila.

“I said, ‘Yes, sige po.'”

The Gawad Urian Best Actress also shares how she made sure that everything about her channel shifting is taken care of. 

From simple queries to serries of conferences to make sure that her doing projects with another network is well-communicated Bosses in well informed.

Maja said she doesn’t want to burn bridges and that everything she is doing right now, even if she is a freelancer, must be made known to her previous management.

Eighteen years. Grateful ako sa ABS-CBN. Kung anong laban, laban din ako. Kapamilya ako. Laban ako, di ba?” Film Academy Awardee stresses her being a Kapamilya will be forever.

And to answer the question if she can work again with ABS, Maja said, “Kung may offer po, bakit po hindi?”

Maja ended her interview expressing her gratefulness to all her fans, producers, and endorsements, who continued to patronize her in her projects and shared a piece on her mind amidst her new carrier path.

“Salamat sa mga supporters ko dahil kung anuman ang naging desisyon sa karera ko, nandiyan pa rin sila, nakasuporta sa akin.”

“Minsan may mga bagay na mahirap talaga tanggapin. Pero minsan, sabi nga nila, kailangan mo lumabas sa comfort zone mo para matingnan mo rin kung anong kaya mo gawin.”
