After the long wait and exciting teasers, SB19 finally drops a new music era. Their latest single, ‘What?’, was released on Wednesday, March 09, via Sony Music Philippines.

Multi-awarded Ppop group SB19 went on with the release of their single at 7 p.m. Later the debut, “What?” became the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter both Nationwide and Worldwide with its hashtag #SB19WHATMVOutNow.

This time, the boys set the bar way far too high. SB19 has indeed paved the way again.

SB19’s Pinunong Pablo, who is credited as the songwriter and one of the producers of SB19’s latest song, reveals that “What?” proves that they’re “not just here to play games or act cool.”

He admits, “A lot of people still doubt us, denouncing everything that we do and everything that we’re trying to achieve. We love what we do; that’s why we do it respectfully.

‘What?’ is about self-love and empowerment. Each of us has our own flag. We should be proud of it and raise it as much as we can. As SB19 and as individuals, we know that we’re not the best at everything, but that shouldn’t stop us from what we want to achieve.”

The song has a powerful message that will help change someone’s life. The music video of ‘What?’ also featured a powerful Filipino vibe both in visuals and lyrics. SB19 is indeed the pride of the Philippines.

The song is now available on all digital platforms worldwide.

Along with the music release is the merchandise release of SB19 with the collaboration of the young fashion designer artists Chynna Mamawal titled SB19xChynna.

Earlier today, SB19 postponed their virtual launch after one of their members was exposed to someone who turned out positive for COVID-19.

As of the writing, ‘What?’ music video has already surpassed 1 million views in just 17 hours after its release making it the fastest music video here in the Philippines to reach 1 million views.
