Kapamilya actresses Sue Ramirez and Maris Racal criticized those who edited and spread a photo of them online. The photo made it look like they were nude beside each other.
Singer Maris Racal took to Twitter, Jan. 26, to blast the fake nude photo of her and actress Sue Ramirez now spreading online.
“There’s an edited photo of Sue and I spreading online,” said Racal.
Meanwhile, Sue Ramirez re-posted the original photo on her Instagram account to disprove the fake photo. She first uploaded it in August 2019. It shows her and Racal wearing a bikini while apparently sunbathing during a resort trip.
Umayos kayo.”
“At ‘wag tanga pls.
Sue then later posted the edited photo of her with Maris Racal, asking for help to track the person behind the circulating edited photo.
Kulturang MAPANIRA. Kulturang KASUKLAM-SUKLAM.”
“This can happen to anyone. Sa nakakaalam kung san nagsimula ito, pls contact me through DM. Help me get to the bottom of this.”
Abusado kayo.” she said.
ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, the talent agency handling both Ramirez and Racal, also issued a statement Tuesday condemning the photo’s manipulation and distribution. They also threatened legal action against those who distribute the manipulated image.
