Taylor Swift releases’ Love Story’ (Taylor’s Version), one of her re-recorded version song of the hit album “Fearless.. Good news! On Thursday, February 11, Taylor Swift announced that she has re-recorded her blockbuster album Fearless and will release it as Fearless (Taylor’s Version) in April.
“I’m thrilled to tell you that my new version of Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is done and will be with you soon. It has 26 songs, including 6 never before released songs from the vault. ‘Love Story (Taylor’s Version)’ will be out tonight,” the singer and songwriter said in a tweet.
It’s been eleven years ago since Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” has been out in public. Listening to it indeed brings us back in time and reminisce those memories before.
As fans have anticipated and speculated what Swift’s re-recordings of her album Fearless would sound like, the singer first gave a brief preview of her re-recorded version of “Love Story” to a marketing campaign in December for the dating website written by Ryan Reynolds.
“Okay so while my new re-records are NOT done, my friend @VancityReynolds asked me if he could use a snippet of one for a LOLsome commercial he wrote so… here’s a sneak peak of Love Story! Working hard to get the music to you soon!!,” Swift had tweeted at the time.
“Love Story,” first released in 2009, is among Taylor’s biggest hits, winning a total of four awards, best country album, including album of the year, and even sell more than 10 million copies stateside.
The love song, about star-crossed lovers, takes inspiration from her personal experiences and William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet (although “Love Story” ends happily).
For many, “Love Story” was how they discovered Taylor in the first place.
Fearless earned Swift her first Grammy wins, including one for the coveted album of the year.
