Rabiya Mateo dressed in Filipino designers masterpieces to her Miss Universe journey in taking home the crown.

Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo arrives at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday April 10 ready to battle herself in the most sought-after beauty pageant.

Together with her whole entourage, Rabiya was warmly welcomed by supporters and had an initial interview about her travel experience. She also showed her enthusiasm to entertain questions about her preparations for the competition.

Representing the Philippines to an international platform, especially in the most famous pageant in the entire universe, will not just be a competition of beauty and character. Still, it holds a more excellent opportunity for all designers to make a mark with a name in the fashion industry.

To be able to dress a queen and sport it in the eyes of fashion critics and experts is already a prize for all designers.

Marlon Tuazon, the one who made Rabiya’s ensemble for her second day in Los Angeles, choose pearls and seashell trimmings with the right amount of skin showing while keeping everything calm and formal.

This masterpiece made by Marlon gains so much attention that it appears on almost all fashion pages, and it has intricate details that also puts itself stood out among the rest.

The graphic art was made and posted in Marlon Tuazon’s IG account Rabiya’s pictures wearing previous designers dressed her with the Philippines’ word.
