Singer Olivia Rodrigo’s runaway hit single “Drivers License” has become the first song to reach one billion global streams in 2021.

According to a Billboard report on Thursday, MRC Data show that the 17-year old’s hit debut single, which spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, climbed past the 1 billion mark in the week ending March 25.

That week, the song racked up 54.42 million global on-demand audio and video streams, bringing its cumulative total to 1.033 billion.

“Drivers License” continues to lead 2021 as the year’s most-streamed song globally. The No. 2 most-streamed track of the year is BTS’ “Dynamite” with 685.98 million.
