The beautiful tear-drop Siargao Island is located in the province of Surigao del Norte in Mindanao.

Siargao island is known for being the home of many champions in the field of surfing.

The Island held a yearly Siargao Cup, both domestic and international surfing competition run and implemented by the local LGU of Surigao del Norte.

To reach Siargao Island has multiple ways.

One could travel by plane via routes from Manila and Cebu to Surigao City and connect another flight to Siargao. Or have a direct flight from Siargao airport to Manila, Clark, and Davao airports; ticket price varies with the kind of airline you choose to travel.

Another way is through Ferry, where it comes from and pro to the main port of Dapa,  and fees ranges from 200 to 500 Philippine peso.

You could also rent a van, motorcycle locally called “habal habal,” or a  multicab that you can use while exploring the insides of the Island. Prices for the rent are very cheap and reasonable.

Siargao offers lots of activities like land tours and island tours, surfing, boardwalks, and many others.

Some of the best places to stay while you are in Siargao are the Hiraya Surf Hostel, Lampara Siargao Boutique Hostel, Secret Spot Siargao, Sinag Hostel, Calypso Surf and Dive, Riad Masaya, Tropical Temple Siargao Resort, Tuazon Vella, and the White Banana Beach Club.  

For more at-home mobility of enjoying the stay, the Island also offers motorcycle, bike, and car rentals for a very reasonable price.

The renting amount for motorcycles is a maximum of 500 pesos for 24 hours of use. One hundred fifty pesos to rent a bike also good for 24 hours.
