P-pop group SB19 welcomes 2021 with another achievement as their ballad song entitled “Hanggang Sa Huli” claims the first spot on the Billboard LyricFind Global chart on January 6, 2021.
The group announced that the said song peaked at the top spot on their Twitter account in this week’s chart, marking it the 5th song to top on the Billboard LyricFind Global chart.
The all- Filipino boy group also didn’t forget to thank their supportive fans, who are called “A’TIN” (pronounced as “eighteen”) for their recent achievement. “Thank you to A’TIN, our #1 source of love! ” SB19 said.
This is far from the first time SB19 made it into the charts of Billboard, specifically on LyricFind; before this recent top spot, four other SB19 songs, namely “Alab,” “Love Goes,” “Tilaluha,” and “Ikako,” a personal composition of SB19’s leader dedicated for COVID 19 frontliner, have all claimed to make it to No. 1 spot on the said chart in different weeks.
Most of the tracks that entered the Billboard chart are part of SB19’s debut full-length album “Get In The Zone,” which was released in 2020.
The LyricFind charts rank the top-trending lyric searches via LyricFind’s syndication service, according to Billboard.
To sum up all of their achievement on Billboard, SB19 was hailed for being ranked at the 6th spot among Billboard’s Top Social 50 Artists of 2020, making them the only Southeast Asian act to get into the said list along with the K-pop superstars groups.
Needless to say, the P-pop group seems to be poised with success, and as the new year kicks in, it only implies that more opportunities and achievements are waiting for SB19.
May this year be SB19’s year of domination as they continue to rise and be successful in the music industry. Still, there’s a long way to go, but nothing is impossible with hard work and perseverance.
